NDT Inspection Plug NDT Inspection Plugs consist of two primary sections:

1) EPDM Sleeve:

  • 50 Durometer EPDM
  • Ethylene Propylene Rubber
  • Chemical Resistance: Excellent
  • Ozone, Water/Steam Resistance: Excellent
  • Permanent Set Resistance: Excellent
  • Temperature Range:

    -65°F (-54°C) to +300°F (+149°C) for Continuous Operation.

    Note: Silicone Sleeve (vs. EPDM) for higher operation (400°f) temps available.

  • Tensile Strength: 1400 PSI
  • Elongation: 300%

    2) Aluminum or SS Cap and Locking Ring

  • Dead Soft Aluminum #5052 or #304 Stainless Steel
  • Note: The material is generally determined by the type of insulation jacket material and if corrosive chemicals are used.
