  • Water-based couplant with high surface wetting capabilities to optimize transmission on dirty or oily surfaces.
  • Ferrous corrosion inhibitor factors.
  • Meets nuclear specifications for Halogens, Sulfur and low melting point metals and many aircraft and military specifications.

  • Contains biodegradable materials safe for “leave-on” applications and an environmentally benign ferrous corrosion inhibition system for steel.
  • Has low skin irritation potential, contains no dye or fragrance and will not stain clothing.
  • Meets nuclear power specifications for Halogens, Sulfur and low melting point metals.

    HIGH TEMPERATURE ULTRASONIC COUPLANT

Sono 900 Sono 900 tech specs * A couplant’s upper temperature range for short duration thickness gaging is higher than when used for flaw detection. When testing on vertical or overhead surfaces, a thicker grade of couplant is likely to stay in place, but thinner grade generally performs better on flat surfaces. Hot couplants can cause burns; therefore, gloves and goggles are recommended when working with hot surfaces.

  • Extended and extreme temperature ultrasonic couplant.
  • Does NOT contain perflourocarbons found in many “high temperature” greases, thus “polymer fume fever” is not an operator hazard.
